This international NPO (non profit organisation) was founded by Fedora Ambassadors at Brussels in February 2008. Our main goal was to support the Fedora Project and the Fedora Ambassadors in the EMEA area. We act to facilitate and consolidate all kind of resources to Fedora Ambassadors. Promotion of Free and Open Source Software in general, and Fedora in specific is one of our other goals.

The official name of this association was "Fedora EMEA e. V." and it was registered in Germany.
